Lottie: A Handmade Cloth Doll

May 22, 2015

2015::365::71-73

Oh, darling Lottie.  Lottie loves the garden, but goodness, don’t try to get a hat on her. (Just have a look at those freckles!)  She’s a lively little one and keeps threatening to prune my roses if I don’t get out there soon and do it myself.  Despite her disregard for hats, Lottie does like to keep warm on chilly mornings with her handknit shawl and lace-topped boots.

Lottie is a 14″ tall waldorf-inspired cloth doll. She has DWE cotton interlock skin and is firmly stuffed with clean sheep’s wool. Her gorgeous locks are a camel weft crocheted into a wig by me. Lottie can sit independently and comes with her dress, underpants, a knitted shawl, and knitted shoes. Lottie is excited to travel and meet her new family!  (Please prepare your garden accordingly.)

Lottie’s listing can be found here.

Due to but not limited to strands of hair, yarn, and buttons, this doll is not suitable for young children, children under 3, or children that still put things in their mouths.
