A Valentine’s Day Garland

February 2, 2011

In our home, our dining area and living room open up into each other.  It is the perfect space to hang festive garland all year round.

Our Holiday garland of ribbon and greeting cards came down a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been thinking of something cheerful to put in it’s place.  I stumbled on this pattern on Ravelry and instantly thought of the lone ball of acrylic in my stash.  Perfect!

I love the way the subtle variation of the yarn works it’s way through the chain.  I started this last night and am about half done.  The pattern is super quick and easy to memorize and the results are adorable!

What Valentine’s Day crafts have you been working on?
