Winter Play

January 17, 2011

When it’s warm outside, we’re out there nearly every single day.  It’s so important for little ones (and us bigger ones too) to get physical activity out of doors.  An “exhale” in our daily rhythm, if you will.  It can be a bit more challenging to get out in the colder grayer Winter months, but with a little extra bundling, it’s certainly possible.

Even a few minutes of fresh air can make a big difference in helping all of us avoid the “blahs” that can sometimes accompany too little sunlight and too much time indoors.

What sort of Winter activities does your family enjoy?

We love the snow -and we get out at least twice a day with Jack – but recently Scout has been tunneling into the mounds of snow – so much fun and out of the cold wind for the most part…

very nice images! I wish we were closer to come play in your snow. We have none and I was really looking forward to watching D get to play in it this year. Last year he was too small.
