WIP Wednesday: Blue Pilot Cap

March 17, 2010

Over the last week or so, I’ve been working on the Heartbreakingly Cute Pilot Cap to match Baby O’s Spring Stripes BSJ.

This pattern is from Mason-Dixon Knitting Outside the Lines and knitting outside the lines it is indeed!  It is all knit in one piece and then folded up and stitched into a hat.  The origami-like construction is so clever!
Remind you of anything?  I’m a bit suspicious that it will be too small (gauge given seems a bit off).  No worries though!

This little cap should be finished in no time.  Perhaps next week I’ll be able to share the finished jacket and cap set with you!

So, tell me, what are you crafting?  (Please feel free to leave a link!)

PS  Don’t forget to participate in the knitting poll on the sidebar!

I need to get started on my cloth easter eggs. I have some fabulous fabric from Japan to use.
