Sweater for Baby I

October 5, 2008

I’ve used this pattern before, here.
This time I really switched it up and only used the bare bones of the pattern. I did a cluster stitch on the bottom half of the sweater and a shell trim along the bottom (sc 1st row, shell stitch 2nd row).
I also did contrasting white sleeves with purple trim and used three ribbons instead of 2 buttons.

The purple is Simply Soft baby yarn in Orchid and the white is the same white baby fingering weight used on this baby blanket, doubled up.
She already has the blanket and we sent the sweater yesterday. I’m thinking they are going to match nicely… and the baby looks just gorgeous in these colors!
